Who we are

Air Force 1940 Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 84 307 591 268) operates airforce1940au.com, the official Australian community hub for the mobile game 1940 - Arcade Shooting Game. Our registered office is at 123 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, and you can reach us at [email protected] or +61 7 3221 8200.

We are the controller of personal information collected through this website. The game itself is published on Google Play and governed by its own terms — this policy covers everything that happens on our site and in our community services.

What we collect

  • Contact details — name, email and message content when you write to us through the contact form or by email.
  • Service bookings — the service you request, your device model and scheduling preferences so we can deliver coaching, setup or design work.
  • Order details — shipping address and gift message for physical gift packs.
  • Usage data — anonymised pages-viewed statistics used to keep the site fast and relevant.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Purchases are completed through bank transfer or the payment link we send after booking.

How we use it

Your information is used to answer enquiries, deliver booked services, ship physical packs and operate community events. We may email you about schedule changes or materials related to a service you bought.

We do not sell personal information, run advertising profiles or share your details with marketers. Aggregate, anonymised statistics may be shared publicly — for example, attendance numbers at community events.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small set of cookies: one to remember your cookie-banner choice, and optional analytics cookies that count visits anonymously. Full detail lives in our Cookie Policy.

Data storage and security

Enquiry records are stored on servers located in Australia and retained for 24 months, after which they are deleted. Physical order records are kept for the period required by Australian tax law.

Access is limited to staff who need it for your booking, and all transmissions to this site are encrypted in transit.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the law allows. Email [email protected] with the subject 'Privacy request' and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK, the same rights are available to you under GDPR — see our Legal Notice for the dedicated GDPR section.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first — most issues resolve in one email. If you remain unsatisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes to this policy

We revise this page when our practices change. The 'updated' date at the top always reflects the current version; material changes are announced in the community Discord and on the blog.
